Do you meet the following criteria?
- You are the official owner or occupant (tenant) of the address being applied for.
- The address that you are applying for is physically separate from adjacent addresses that already have electric service.
- You have no previous illegal connection cases with Ibaan Electric Corporation.
Requirements
Applying can be easy. Start of submitting the following:
- Electrical Plan Layout with Schedule of Loads
- Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection (CFEI)
- Proof of Residency (Kasunduan sa may ari ng Lupa, Barangay Certificate of Residency)
- Photocopy of any Government Valid ID’s
- Seminar (Every Friday 1:00PM)
New Service Connection Application Process
Please follow the steps below to apply for a new electric service connection:
Step 1: Complete the Required Documents
Prepare and complete all required documents for a new connection application.
📌 Ensure all documents are complete and accurate before submission.
Step 2: Submit to the Consumer Welfare Desk
Submit your completed requirements to our Consumer Welfare Desk Officers for initial evaluation and processing.
Step 3: Wait for Site Survey
Our authorized surveyor will conduct an on-site inspection to assess:
- Location of the premises
- Distance from the nearest distribution line
- Required materials and facilities
- Technical feasibility of connection
Step 4: Payment of Required Fees
After the survey, the applicant must proceed to the office to:
- Confirm the total assessed fees
- Pay the required charges and other applicable fees
📌 Official Receipt will be issued upon payment.
Step 5: Installation of Service Entrance (Applicant Responsibility)
The applicant must hire a licensed private electrician to install the required service entrance facilities based on the survey recommendations and standard specifications.
This includes:
- Service entrance wires (Line and Load)
- Weather cup, Adaptors, RMC, PVC.
- Meter base
- Grounding system
- Other required electrical components
📌 All installations must comply with the DU’s technical standards.
Step 6: Notify for Inspection
Once the service entrance installation is complete, inform our office.
An authorized inspector will conduct an inspection to verify:
- Proper installation
- Compliance with technical standards
- Alignment with DU’s requirements
Step 8: Approval for Connection
If the installation passes inspection and complies with standards, your service connection will be scheduled and energized.
